"BLU" WILLIE T

Thomas, aka "Blu" Willie T (vocals, guitar, songwriter) was born in Hineville, Alabama. He started playing with his brothers as "Pretty" Willie and the Delta Blues Band, playing the blues clubs around Chicago, Detroit and St. Louis. During this time, "Blu" Willie T made a name for himself as a young firebrand on guitar and a gifted vocalist.

He played guitar with LONNIE BROOKS and TYRONE DAVIS and danced with THE ELMORE JAMES REVIEW. "Blu" Willie T also played harmonica for LIL' WALTER, OTIS RUSH and JIMMIE REED.

After performing along side MUDDY WATERS, LEFTY DIZ, BUDDY GUY, JUNIOR WELLS and other blues greats of the 50's, 60's and 70's, "Blu" Willie T retired from show biz to work at Chicagoland steel mills and raise a family.

Now in the 2000's, "Blu" Willie T, side by side with Maggie: The ITTY BITTY WOMAN and his band da MID-NITE LOVERS are here for your entertainment with Originals and Blues Standards.

A student of DAVID BROMBERG, the Folk-Rock mainstay of the 70's, Bradley "D" build his reputation as a fearsome Lap Steel player in a number of bands in the 90's and 2000's.

       MO THIRUS - BASS / VOCALS
From Punk-Funk to Supper Clubs, "BEEG MO" has played it all. A studied Classical Guitarist, "BEEG MO"'s fluent styling add the melodic punch that makes da MID-NITE LOVERS different and "oh, so enjoyable".

       CHUCK FRANKLIN - DRUMS / VOCALS / PERCUSSION
"MR. CHUCK" has toured with Harvey Mandel, Teddy Pendergrass and other nationally known acts.

"Blu" Willie T & da Mid-Nite Lovers, featuring Maggie, "The Itty Bitty Woman", are available for clubs, private parties and festivals.
